Alwar: Popularly known as the “Tiger Gate” of Rajasthan. Surrounded by the lush Green Aravali hills and presents a breath taking natural environment. But then the whole of Rajasthan, which is partly sandy and partly rugged and blessed only in a few places with a lake or a patch of green, is an exercise in color.
Mandawa: Mandawa is a small town in the heart of Shekhawati region. The place is known not only for its havelis but also for its Fort Palace. The structure of the palace reminds of the cultural and social importance of this region in the past. Of the havelis, the most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Another havelis, the Binsidhar Newatia Havelis, is known for its curious paintings. There is a painting of a boy holding a telephone and a European woman in a car driven by a chauffeur. The Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli is famous for its erotic images, now mostly defaced.
Bikaner: It is a well-known district in the state of Rajasthan in India. Located in the north western part of the state, the district has its headquarters at the city of Bikaner. Nathdwara: This place enshrines Shrinathji - an image of Krishna, which was originally enshrined at the Vraja Bhoomi at Mount Govardhana near Mathura .The name Nathdwara means `Gate of the Lord`.
Ajmer: Nestling in the foothills of `Ajaya Meru`, Ajmer was founded by Aijpal Chauhan in the year 1100 AD, dominated and ruled by Chauhan dynasty till 1193 AD. Ajmer is a world renowned pilgrimage center for both Hindus as well as Muslims. It is a celestial home to most holy Dragon Sharif a tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, which is equally worshiped by all religions specially the Hindus and Muslims

Pushkar: Located 11km from Ajmer, according to Hindu mythology the town is the creation of Lord Brahma - the Creator of the Universe. A temple dedicated to Brahma has been built here. Pushkar also hosts one of the most colorful cattle fairs in the country. A very important pilgrimage spot for Hindus, Pushkar is famous for its lake.

Kota: Kota is a famous for its industries as well as natural beauty. It is situated on the bank of the river Chanbal in the southeast Rajasthan. The history of Kota is linked with the history of Bundi.

Bundi: This place has one of the most magnificent histories that a region can have, and many wars and battles were fought here for over 600 years between Rajput clans, the Marathas and the British. Rajput heritage continues in Bundi, famous even today for paintings depicting royal hunts, murals on the walls of the palace and its lacquer work on toys and ornaments. In fact, the Chitrashala or Hall of Paintings has one of the best examples seen in Rajasthan.

Ranthambore: It is located in the foothills of Aravali Ranges near the small town of Sawai-Madhopur. It is one of the India`s foremost illustrations of Project Tiger. Indian government has taken all necessary efforts to conserve and regenerate the shrinking number of tigers in India. A fine example of Project Tiger, Ranthambore was declared a National Park in 1980. The Wildlife Park enjoys the typical dry deciduous type of dense forests dotted with Pine trees, Banyan and Dhok trees as the main vegetation for animals. Among the more fascinating features of Ranthambhore are the Banyan trees, some of which are known to be at least 800 years old, boasting of the excellent specimen of flora in the wild.

Sariska: This is Alwar`s own garden of paradise. Set in a wooded valley surrounded by barren hills, it is one of the most picturesque Tiger Reserves of Rajasthan. Sariska was declared a sanctuary in 1955, though it became the more distinguished Tiger Reserve in 1979. Three years later it became a National Park.

Bharatpur: This Bird Sanctuary is located in the northwestern state of Rajasthan India. Also known as `Keoladeo Ghana National Park`, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is famous as `Ornithologist`s Paradise` .One of the finest bird parks in the world, is a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar.
