Beaches Tour of Kerala

Day1:Trivandrum (Thiruvanthampuram)  
Arrival in Trivandrum where our representative will assist you and transfer to hotel. Later in afternoon, half day city tour visiting,
Shanghumugham Beach: It is popular city beach adjacent to the airport. An indoor recreation club, children`s traffic training park and a star shaped restaurant are some of the facilities at the beach
Shri Padmanabhaswamy Vishnu Temple- The area of historical interest in the city is the Fort, which encloses this famous Vishnu Temple. The fort gateway leads to the temple, which is surprisingly enough, in the Dravidian style of architecture, typical of Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines, and is dedicated, to the presiding deity of Thiruvananthapuram, Lord Vishnu. It was constructed by a Maharaja of Travancore, in 1733. The temple is open only to Hindus. The city derives its name from this temple, as the deity i.e Lord Vishnu, is shown as reclining on his serpent, Anantha.
Napier Museum- This is housed in a striking building, and has a good collection of bronzes, ivory carvings, ancient musical instruments and life-size figures of Kathakali dancers.
Sri Chitra Art Gallery- This gallery contains paintings of the Mughal, Tanjore and Rajput schools and a special section, devoted exclusively to the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma. There are, also, works of art from China, Bali, Tibet and Japan.
Zoological & Botanical Gardens- Here is one of the well-planned zoos in Asia. The Botanical Garden within the zoo, houses specimens of almost every tropical tree existing.
Observatory- It is located on the highest point of the city, is one of the impressive architectural landmarks of Thiruvananthapuram.

Day2:Trivandrum-Allepey (Allappuzha)  
Early morning drive to Allepey, the most fascinating city, a travelers` paradise. Also known as Allapuzha, it is the best gateway to explore the unspoiled countryside. It also invites you to have a memorable time on the backwaters in a country boat. One arrival, check in a traditional House Boat of Kerela, 24 hours cruise through the backwaters, fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters.

Day3:Allepey-Tekkady (Periyar)  
In afternoon, drive to Tekkady, a mystical travel destination in Kerala conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. The entire district has picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.
Overnight at hotel.
 
Day4:Tekkady-Munnar  
After breakfast drive to Munnar, a charming hill station. It promises travelers a complete holiday experience amidst lakes, reservoirs, forests and tea estates. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Afternoon at leisure to move around covering Mattupetty, Indo Swiss cattle project and visit Rajamalai and Eravikuloam National Park to watch Wildlife.

Day5:Munnar-Cochin (Ernakulam)  
Today morning drive to Cochin- Queen of Arabian Sea. In the afternoon visit, Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Synagogue, Bolghatty Island, Willingdon Island.
Overnight at hotel.
 
Day6:Cochin  
Day free for leisure. Later depart by train/flight towards onward destination.
